2024 Community Impact Report Last year, UpValley Family Centers was a crucial touchpoint for community members, providing resources and reassurance – to youth navigating stress, to older adults seeking connection, to immigrant families in moments of uncertainty. As needs have grown, so has our response: launching new school-based wellness centers, expanding grassroots outreach, and growing programs focused on housing stability, economic resilience, and immigration legal support. We’re entering the new fiscal year with our largest budget yet – $5.3 million – because the work ahead demands it. A significant portion must be raised through individual and community support, and unrestricted gifts are essential – they allow us to remain nimble, compassionate, and responsive. We invite you to read our 2024 Community Impact Report and see how your support – and our shared values – continue to shape a stronger, more connected UpValley. |

Celebrating Our Grand Opening! Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us as we cut the ribbon to mark the opening of our new community resource center at 913 Washington Street in Calistoga! We had well over 100 people in attendance at our grand opening celebration - including community members, elected officials, and supporters alike. This new space includes dedicated offices for staff from our Economic Success, Community Engagement, and Family & Senior Wellness Programs. The space also includes a classroom for our Niños Activos Playgroup; a conference room space for up to 16 people for hosting workshops, trainings, and community meetings; a waiting room with comfortable seating and resources for clients waiting for appointments, including a designated play area for children; and two publicly accessible computer stations with internet access for job or housing searches, completing online applications for services such a medical insurance or unemployment, and other essential tasks. The new “Provider Room” will allow for different partner organizations to outstation their staff on a weekly or monthly basis. Partner organizations include Mentis Mental Health Services, Providence Information and Assistance, Napa County District Attorney and Napa Family Court. Starting this week, residents will also be able to access other services through Napa County Health and Human Services Agency, including Behavioral Health Services, Medi-Cal, Cal-Fresh, CalWORKs, In House Supportive Services (IHSS), and Women, Infants and Children (WIC). The expansion is thanks to the generous support of Adventist Health St. Helena, who worked with us to make this move possible, based on their desire to have the property continue to be a resource that fosters community health and wellbeing. UpValley Family Centers is grateful to the St. Helena Hospital Foundation, E. Richard Jones Family Foundation, Lewis Cellars, and individual supporters who made special gifts to make this expansion possible. |
